Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama acknowledged has approved the concept of the row village from Ciliwung Merdeka. But they were required to submit the approval of citizens who are willing to land converted into row village.

"I've met with him (Ciliwung Merdeka) at City Hall. We ask for agreement letter to him but he doesn't bring it to us, whereas I'm ready to start the project," he finished.
